Description:
A General Education course providing systematic analysis of the components of effective writing, with regular practice and close individual assistance. Study of expository prose models. Research skills introduced.
Prerequisites:
Modern English Usage (ENGL 0103) for students scoring 0-14 on the English portion of the ACT. For international students with limited English proficiency or who score below 500 on the TOEFL, completion of the ASEC Program with the recommendation of the ASEC Director or English Language and Culture I(ENGL 0024).
